Kyle Jenks is the founding principal of Parkside Partners, and has 28 years’ experience in marketing and developing commercial real estate in Atlanta. Kyle is responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day activities for Parkside including identifying acquisition and development opportunities; securing of equity and financing; project branding and marketing strategies; business development; and investor/partner relationships. Kyle is a native of Atlanta, a member of the Urban Land Institute 2010 Center for Leadership, and a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Gary Matthews is a principal of Parkside Partners and has over 22 years of experience in design, construction and real estate development. Gary oversees the development division and is responsible for all phases of in-house and 3rd party developments including acquisition due diligence; project entitlements; overseeing the design and construction teams; and, construction management for all tenant build-outs. Other responsibilities include tracking and controlling budgets; and, managing project schedules. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and earned his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Gary is a member of Urban Land Institute, IREM and serves at 12Stone Church.
Douglas James is a partner with Parkside Partners on several projects in Atlanta and other cities and is involved in leasing, marketing and development strategies for those properties. He has over 32 years of experience in commercial real estate in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Doug has represented office and medical tenants in lease negotiations, sold income properties and been responsible for marketing and leasing for several office properties in Atlanta. He is a native of Virginia and moved to Atlanta in 1974 after graduating from the University of Alabama.
Richard Thompson recently joined Parkside Partners and is involved with multiple aspects of development and real estate brokerage. His experience in real estate over the past 22 years is concentrated in sourcing new investments, analyzing the financial projections, executing the development team’s plans for construction, structuring and securing the capital stack, and negotiating the lease transaction. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned his Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from Georgia State University. Richard is a licensed real estate broker with the State of Georgia.
Eli Green joined Parkside Partners in 2015 and is primarily responsible for identifying new investment opportunities and select brokerage assignments. He has over sixteen years of diverse real estate experience including principal investing, capital structuring, financing, asset management, leasing and sales. Over his career, Eli has been involved in over $1B of transactions totaling approximately 13 million square feet across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest as both a principal and a broker. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Eli is a licensed real estate broker with the State of Georgia and is involved in a number of professional, civic and education organizations in Atlanta.
Christina Bickerton is an associate of Parkside Partners, and has 13 years’ experience in commercial real estate in Atlanta. Christina is involved in all aspects of the company operation including property management for Parkside developments; assisting in the development and acquisition process; preparing lease and marketing materials; managing monthly and annual financial reporting to investors and lenders. Christina is a member of IREM, and a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Managerial Science.
Courtenay Byrd is an associate of Parkside Partners, with over 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate in Atlanta. Courtenay is primarily responsible for property management for Parkside’s growing portfolio. She also handles the development of marketing communications programs for Parkside’s projects as well as corporate marketing. Courtenay is a member of BOMA Georgia and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Sam Higgins joined Parkside Partners in 2016 as an associate and is primarily responsible for the identification and analysis of acquisition and development opportunities through financial modeling and market research. Additionally, Sam assists the company’s leasing and marketing activities and provides support to Parkside’s development, asset management and property management teams. An Atlanta native, Sam earned his BBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a licensed real estate salesperson with the State of Georgia.
